Good Mornings 03092011

I am sitting here shocked. India is traditionally famous for its devils dressed in driver's clothes. But Kerala had been an exception. Not anymore. I have lost count of people who had to bear the scars, thanks to someone else's mistake.

My greatest friend's mom ended up in a critical condition. She was just attempting to cross the road. Lax driving ought to invite grave sentences. But IPC is filled with loopholes.

The wolves are at it again. After victory of democracy, Brits and French are after Libyan oil. This is going to disturb the markets again.

Last night I chatted up with an old manager of mine. Ofcourse she is good looking stuff. She was surprised that I didn't attempt a conversation then. Who will dare flirt with managers?

Good mornings 02092011

I woke up the morning with a persistent cold. The climate here has been drenchy for the last two days. To make matters worse we have an audit today. Audits are inevitable as far as a financial institution is concerned. But for a worker its a nightmare.

I finished watching Polanski's 'ninth gate'. He is more or less an unfinished version of Hitchcock. Film was spooky with gripping narrative be camera. But nothing more.

Wikileaks have come up with another startling revelation. This time a powerful Kerala minister is found out to have terrorist connection. Assange is in no mood to fade away. I am planning to do a stealing.

I; am going to lift my neighbor's newspaper.

Good Mornings 31082011

I have never been a technocrat. I always stood for the old school of thought that cellphones are for phoning. But it was to change as soon as I watched Iron Man.
I.wanted to own similiar cool items

I came closer when I came to know of Android. After much thought and contemplation I have brought one. Right now. I am enamoured by the toy. The only challenge is constantly charging it.

Now you guys are reading the first post.

Iam in a train now. Everyone has some kind of toy or another. Look at what I am reading now.

A ham burger

Today was especially boring and too much lunch and a sumptuous treat that followed resulted in a very very drowsy afternoon. We have a provision of organization sponsored tea towards late afternoon. But the miser of manager is too much concerned of the branch’s profit and his promotion (which are intertwined) .

So I walked into CafĂ© Coffee Day. Essentially the prices are on the higher side. But the cool ambience and the tasty cookies have no substitution. There I sat munching on when a family walked in. Two young kids and a father-mother pair. They were very neatly dressed but in simple attire. They walked in. The kids were excited and they saw the menu and they gasped in horror. May be a week’s salary might go in for the treat. They walk out after mumbling some excuse to the waiter.

I always dreaded to be in a position where I won’t be able to afford the basic luxuries. Sadly the bar for the ‘basic’ go up every day. Long ago when I was a kid, I and my cousin got together at my home. I asked what ‘ham’ in a ham burger is? I had never tasted a burger. I had the impression it was some exotic stuff. My dad didn’t indulge us by taking us out. He gasped, ‘You have never tried one?’ Later my mom told me, ‘You should have never asked the question. We will take you out one day’ Till date they haven’t treated me with a ‘ham’ burger. Today I am also thankful that they didn’t ‘harm’ me with those junkies.

Good Mornings 23082011

I was travelling with a newly met friend in a train. We talked over and realised she was engaged.
Judging from her looks I made a wild guess that the guy might have been someone she is in love with. But it was not to be.

She had some religious convictions that varied from her parents'. So she searched out in the net and shortlisted from resumes. I just cant imagine an India where you will have to put applications online to get married. How nonchalantly they pick out people, judging from a piece of paper!

And yesterday's editorial in Hindu might have already created an uproar by now. Arundhathi Roy has lashed out at the middle class for supporting Anna

Shame of illiteracy

A small guy came to, apparently from the impoverished northern part. His dress showed up that. They were worn out, inspite of the neatly washed and combed hair. He came with a piece of paper that had a name and account number written over it. He wanted to deposit some money.

As the practice goes, for the ones who don’t know English, we fill the deposit slip asking them to sign at the bottom. But this guy stood still.

‘I don’t know how to sign’

‘Atleast write your name’. He nodded the head in negative. The boy didn’t know how to write. Apparently it was written somewhere that depositor will have to sign over his name.

I saw the shame spreading across his face.

Good Mornings 17082011

Yesterday would have been the most illustrious independence day in our history. Finally we managed to break the bondages of State Machinery and came together to defend an illustrious son of the soil. Indians, we ought to be proud.
I am still very much vary of the idea of satyagraha, which is a counter revolutionary procedure. But the world over, irrespective of ideologies people are getting on to the streets. May be it's global warming, the temperature are soaring high.

May be we forgot the man who started this all- Assange.

In another corner of India, some clowns are preventing stock taking of world's richest temple claiming wrath of Diety. The fear may even prevent Supreme court from cancelling their ruling.
