The Wise men who rules the country!

Once we cried the illiterate leaders are the curse of the country. Now the concept has turned over its head.

Ahluwallia claimed in the morning newspaper that the increaing the fuel cost will bring down inflation over a longer period. These American educated bastards know to dress very well and look prim and proper. We have a weakness for everything foreign and gulp down the wise saying silently. But then again, how long would we have to wait for the ‘long term’? What are the 70% of Indians, who earn 20 Rs, going to eat for a long term?

Manamohan has gone a step ahead when he says the media is witch hunting his ministry for corruption and this prevents his officials from taking any decsion with out fear. He has gone on to say the government cannot be blamed for corruption because they take decisions with out any post facto knowledge. This guy still has the guts to think he can drown the country with an amazing bounty of scholarly nonsense.

The government is modifying the banking act to allow the famous Indian conglomerates to enter the banking arena. The claim is that currently government has no reach in rural India. The Ambanis and Tatas and Birlas are going to fill the gap! The statics in the hand of government suggests 60% of rural Indians still miss banking services. Interestingly another statistics says 70%earns only 30 rupees per day. And the wise men from American universities hopes to start Term Deposits from these people.

Or are we being the fools?

Staff

We had a staff meeting last day. The first one for me in this place.
I was quite surprised to see people standing up and telling the managers how much they hated her.

I have never seen this passion, not atleast in the work place.
Sadly, the management institutions like the government is trying to dealienate the common man from the management. The good thing about this is the institution can get a free hand in running/persecuting the working class. The working class on the other hand is trying to jump desperately into the management class.

Value for the corporate

Football may not matter much to Indians. But tit does still matter to a few. So when JCT announced closure, it was a disaster soon waiting to happen. But the reason baffled me. JCT will restart the club when it generates ‘value for the corporate’.

How true! The one who spends the money rules. Last week I was in for a training. If they talk about the financial inclusion in the first sentence, in the next sentence they would dissuade us from giving out loans to poor villagers. It would go on to become NPAs! Well, if the nationalized banks fear to invest in the poor fearing the fall in market, then who will. Are our policy makers banking in on Ambanis and Tatas to pour in money in villages!

After a hiatus

I have been on a holiday for the last two weeks. I have discovered that thenew profession has very well eaten into my creative mindspace.

But then we have been cursed to sweat for our food. We will have to live with it

But the last two weeks helped me in making friends in my own age. It was a welcome relief. It's not just the job, a bad manager can also make your life hell. I am learning to live with it!

Lesson-4 The ugly man

Today a man came to the bank. I couldn’t dare look at him, as every inch of his visible body was filled wit tiny tumors. He was very well dressed. I heard strains of conversations he had with the cashier. He had come to pay up his daughter’s fees. My mind flattered on imagining that this hideous looking man has a family and a daughter to dot on. How many different people are there on this earth? Or is it my partial blindness that males people look different?
